Qualification Requirements

For Academic Positions

1. Professor / Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer:

   • Ph.D. in a relevant field.

   • Minimum of 2 years at the current academic rank.

   • Demonstrated scholarly output with a minimum of 24/16/10 publications (as applicable) in recognized local and international journals.

2. Lecturer I / II:

   • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

   • At least 2 years’ experience at Lecturer II or Assistant Lecturer level (where applicable).

3. Assistant Lecturer:

   • Master’s degree from a recognized institution.

4. Professional Registration:

   • All academic applicants must be registered or certified members of a relevant professional body with a valid practicing license.

For Non-Academic Positions

• A minimum of HND or B.Sc. (Second-Class Lower Division) in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

• OND qualifications may be accepted for specific technical positions.

• Possession of NYSC discharge, exemption, or exclusion certificate.

• Membership of a relevant professional body (where applicable).

• Proficiency in computer applications is mandatory.

Salary Structure

• Academic staff salaries are comparable to those in Federal Universities in Nigeria.

• Non-academic staff salaries follow the official salary structure of Mudiame University.
