Professor S. E. Eromosele has congratulated the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) ahead of the 2026 French Week celebration, describing the anticipated visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Nigeria as an opportunity to strengthen economic relations between both countries.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of Mudiame, Eromosele extended his best wishes to the President, Council Members and entire membership of the Chamber, commending its efforts to promote business cooperation between Nigeria and France.
He noted that Macron’s expected visit, alongside French business delegations, could create opportunities for increased bilateral trade, technological exchange and foreign investment in Nigeria.
According to the message, the engagement presents an opportunity for both countries to explore new partnerships across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Eromosele also commended the FNCCI leadership for its continued commitment to strengthening business relations between Nigeria and France.
He expressed confidence that the 2026 French Week celebration would promote economic cooperation, encourage innovation and create investment opportunities capable of benefiting both countries.
He concluded by congratulating the Chamber on the event and wishing its leadership and members a successful celebration.
French Week 2026 is scheduled to hold in Lagos from October 29 to November 6, bringing together business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and diplomatic representatives from Nigeria and France.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron is reportedly expected to visit Nigeria on October 28 and 29, 2026, according to a report published by TheCable on October 8.
