The Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) declared Hon. Osaro Eribo winner of the Egor Local Government chairmanship election after the recently concluded council polls.

Following the announcement of the results, EDSIEC presented him and other successful chairmanship candidates across the state’s 18 local government areas with their Certificates of Return, officially confirming their election.

The APC recorded victories in several councils during the election, with Eribo’s win widely celebrated by party supporters in Egor.

As chairman-elect, Hon. Osaro Eribo is expected to steer the affairs of the council with emphasis on people-oriented governance.
