Mudiame University Irrua Announces Resumption Date for 2026/2027 Academic Session for New and Returning Students

Mudiame University, Irrua, Edo State, has announced the resumption schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining when newly admitted and returning students are expected to arrive on campus.

According to the announcement issued by the Office of the Acting Registrar, newly admitted students will resume on Sunday, 25th October 2026, while returning students are expected back on Sunday, 1st November 2026.

The university has also released the timetable for freshers’ clearance and registration, the commencement of first-semester lectures and the payment requirements for students seeking accommodation in its halls of residence.

Clearance and Registration for Newly Admitted Students

Newly admitted students will have from Monday, 26th October to Friday, 6th November 2026, to complete their clearance and registration.

The exercise begins a day after freshers are expected to resume into the university’s halls of residence and ends three days before the commencement of lectures.

Students who have secured admission for the 2026/2027 academic session should make arrangements to participate in the exercise within the stipulated period.

To ensure a smooth registration process, newly admitted students are encouraged to prepare their admission documents and complete any necessary preparations before arriving on campus.

Mudiame University Accommodation and School Fees Requirements

Students planning to reside in the university’s halls of residence must meet the payment requirements outlined in the official resumption notice.

According to the university, students will only be allowed into the halls of residence after providing evidence of payment of the following:

• 100% of their accommodation fees.
• 100% of their utilities fees.
• At least 50% of their school fees.

This means that students intending to stay in the halls of residence must pay their accommodation and utilities fees in full, alongside at least half of their school fees, before they can gain access to their accommodation.

Students and parents are encouraged to make the necessary financial arrangements ahead of resumption to avoid delays in accessing the halls of residence.

When Will Lectures Begin at Mudiame University?

First-semester lectures for the 2026/2027 academic session will commence on Monday, 9th November 2026.

The lecture commencement date applies to all students, including newly admitted and returning students.

Students are encouraged to complete their resumption preparations early and obtain their departmental lecture timetables to ensure they are ready for academic activities.
