Welcome Home Justice is seeking a highly skilled Legal Writer to join our team as an independent contractor. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for creating legal exam questions that test law students’ understanding and application of legal frameworks. We aim to foster critical thinking by presenting complex real-world scenarios, making this role essential to developing future legal professionals.

This is a fully remote position, offering flexible working hours, making it ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy in their work. You will have the freedom to work from anywhere, as long as you have a reliable internet connection and a strong legal background.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Writer at Welcome Home Justice, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Crafting clear, concise, and challenging legal exam questions designed to test law students’ understanding of various legal principles.
• Applying legal concepts to real-world factual scenarios in a way that is both accurate and educational.
• Using WordPress for content management to ensure seamless integration of exam materials.
• Leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT to enhance productivity, improve the quality of questions, and streamline the content creation process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• Strong understanding of legal frameworks and their application to different factual scenarios.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts into exam-friendly language.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in WordPress for content management purposes.
• Familiarity with AI applications like ChatGPT to boost efficiency in content creation.
• Access to a laptop or desktop with reliable internet connectivity.
