Ugbineh Community Warned Public Against Patronizing Illegal Land Speculators
The public has been alerted by the Ugbineh Community in the Ovia South West Local Government Area, Edo State, to be cautious of those who may be selling land illegally in the area.
According to a statement made by Barrister B.A. Iluobe, a lawyer, on behalf of the Ugbineh Community, the management of the community’s land is being misused and taken over by individuals who lack the legal authorization to sell or transfer community land.
Lands in Ugbineh Community in Ovia South West Local Government Area, Edo State, are not for sale, the statement adds, and the chief priest and the second to fourth oldest men do not approve of the unlawful sales that are taking place.
The community cautions that anybody transacting without the consent and approval of all of the principal parties does so at his own peril.
