The Kwara State Hospitals Management Board (KW-HMB) has announced a fresh recruitment exercise for Medical Officers to serve in various general and cottage hospitals across the state.
The announcement was made through an official statement released in Ilorin, where the board invited qualified and committed medical professionals to apply and support the state’s ongoing effort to improve healthcare delivery.
“The state is investing in strengthening healthcare delivery, and we need dedicated doctors to join our team,” the statement read.
Applicants must hold a valid MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized institution, have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess a valid exemption certificate, and be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a current practicing license.
The Executive Secretary of the board emphasized that the recruitment is open to professionals with sound clinical knowledge, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent communication abilities. He further noted that successful applicants must be willing to work in any designated hospital across Kwara State, especially in underserved areas.
