In a significant stride towards improving education infrastructure in Edo State, the member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, has commissioned the newly constructed Oza Primary School in Ward 10, Benin City.
The project, which includes six fully furnished classrooms, two administrative offices for staff, standard chairs and boards, and a functional borehole providing clean water, marks a major milestone in the lawmaker’s ongoing commitment to community development and educational advancement.
Speaking at the official commissioning ceremony, Hon. Dr. Edosa expressed heartfelt appreciation to his constituents for their continuous support and trust. He described the project as a collective achievement made possible by the unity and cooperation of the Oredo West people.
“This school is not just a building; it is a promise kept, a foundation for dreams, and a symbol of our commitment to education and community health,” Hon. Edosa said.
The event was attended by a diverse representation of the Oredo West community, including local leaders, elders, parents, and school children. Notable dignitaries present included the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, school authorities, and respected community stakeholders.
The newly opened school facility is expected to provide a conducive learning environment for pupils while enhancing the productivity of teaching staff.
