Gov Okpebholo Approves Free Rides For Edo Residents In Three Senatorial Districts
Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo State, has authorized free bus services for the state’s citizens via the Edo City Transport Service (ECTS), which is operated by the state.
The program is a component of the governor Okpebholo administration’s effort to solidify his “A NEW EDO HAS RISEN” policy agenda.
Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to improving the welfare of all Edo residents includes the free bus service that travels across Benin City and the three senatorial districts of Edo State (intercity and intra-city routes).
“The bus services will ease the transportation stress. Our people who plan to move around within the Benin metropolis and out will be able to do that without any extra financial burdens.
“Edo Central like Ekpoma, Iruekpen, Irrua, Uromi, and other places are also part of the routes the free transportation services will cover.
“Edo North is fully captured. Agbede, Auchi, Okpella, Fugar, and other parts of Edo North are covered in the free transportation scheme of Governor Monday Okpebholo.”
