Well-renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage names 2Face and 2Baba, made a significant appearance on Wednesday in the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja.
His new spouse, Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly who represents the Egor Constituency, was with him.
The tribunal hearing is important because it will render a decision on the appeal that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, filed contesting the election of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Osawaru was elected on the platform of the PDP and currently holds the position of Deputy Majority Leader in the Edo State House of Assembly.
Her and 2Face’s attendance in the tribunal gave the court proceedings a more intimate feel, as both celebrities attracted media and public attention.
This court appearance follows 2Face’s January public declaration of his divorce from his wife, Annie. When 2Face proposed to his current partner, Natasha, in February, he made headlines once more and increased media attention in their relationship.
Since then, 2Face and Natasha have solidified their image as a couple in the public eye by being regularly spotted together in public, going to different social gatherings, and taking pleasure in shopping excursions.
Natasha Osawaru recently changed her Instagram bio to include 2Face’s last name, Idibia, as an additional indication of her love for the artist and a stronger dedication to their relationship.
