Wednesday, January 29, 2025, has been set aside by the Edo State Football Association for the FA Cup competition’s media parley and draws.
The ceremony is set to begin at 12 p.m. at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium’s media center in Benin City, according to Edo State FA chairman Fred Newton Erhunmwunse. It is anticipated that each competing team will send two representatives to the event, he said.
According to the Edo FA boss, Peculiar Ultimate Concern will also be unveiled as the new sponsor of the 2025 Edo FA Cup competition during the ceremony. This year’s Edo FA Cup will include six women’s teams and 24 men’s teams.
The competition will kick off on Wednesday February 5, and end on Sunday February 23, 2025 as directed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)
Bendel Insurance FC and Edo Queens are the defending champions of the Ed
