The names of commissioner-designates have been sent to the state House of Assembly for verification by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.
A letter written by Umar Ikhilor, the Secretary to the State Government, and forwarded to the Assembly on Tuesday included the names of the six commissioner designations. Marie Olabisi-Idaomi, Andrew Ijegbai, Paul Ohonbamu, Paddy Iyamu, Washington Osifo, and Lucky Eseigbe are the nominees.
“I write at the instance of the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo to forward for the consideration and confirmation Assembly, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates,” the letter read.
“They are Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Paddy lyamu, Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai and Marie Olabisi-Idaomi.
“While looking forward to the expeditious confirmation of the names, please accept the assurances of the warm regards of Mr. Governor.”
