The appointment of Ms. Ivie Idahosa as the General Manager of the Edo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) is effective immediately, according to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr Musa Ikhilo.
Ivie is a highly accomplished and results-driven professional who brings a unique blend of international expertise and local passion to her new role.
Ivie possesses two master’s degrees: a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and rural development and a master’s degree in data analytics and healthcare services management from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, USA. She is a member of professional organizations in the United Kingdom and the United States, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
She has demonstrated success in driving growth, improving efficiency, and fostering community development, and she is dedicated to using her knowledge and experience to make a significant impact in Edo State, support sustainable development, and better the lives of Edo communities.
Ivie, a native of Ehor in Edo state’s Uhunmwode Local Government Area, contested for the Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode federal seat in the general elections of 2023.
She worked as a principal manager at Cooper University Hospital, a famous research hospital in New Jersey, USA, until February 24, 2025. Her vast experience in global healthcare, rural development, and agriculture would surely be very helpful in this new position.
