Benard Omohe Fulfills Promise, Commissions Toilet for Eguare Primary School
In a heartwarming display of commitment to community development, Mr. Benard Omohe fulfilled his promise to provide much-needed toilet facilities for Eguare Primary School in Ogwa. The promise was made during a visit to the school in October 2023, where Omohe and his team donated school supplies, including notebooks, pens, and bags. When asked what the school lacked most, the principal immediately highlighted the absence of toilet facilities. Omohe pledged to address the issue.
Despite early challenges with the contractor, which caused some delays, Omohe remained determined to complete the project. Encouraged by his friend Osaro, and inspired by Labour Party (LP) Edo State Guber candidate Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata’s renovation of a school in Ewatto, Omohe recommitted to finishing the toilet project. “I cannot stop halfway,” he told Osaro. “This project must be completed, and the community needs this facility.”
A key turning point came when Omohe initiated a conference call with Osaro, the principal, and the local Ward 1 chairman to refocus efforts and bring in fresh leadership to oversee the project’s completion. On September 14, 2024, Omohe and his team returned to the school to commission the new toilets, ensuring the students now have access to proper sanitation.
Speaking during the commissioning, Omohe expressed his gratitude for the support he received, stating, “This is more than just a toilet; it’s about creating a better environment for our children to learn and thrive. We need leaders who prioritize the needs of the people, and that’s why I believe in the Labour Party.”

This act of generosity aligns with the Labour Party’s ongoing efforts to bring change and improve lives at the grassroots level. Just like Akpata’s renovation project in Ewatto, Omohe’s contribution demonstrates that real change begins with caring for the most vulnerable members of society.
As Nigeria moves closer to the upcoming elections, citizens like Omohe and Akpata are showcasing the values the Labour Party stands for—community-driven development, empowerment, and dedication to the well-being of the people. Their actions serve as a reminder that when we vote for Papa, Mama, and Pikin, we are voting for a brighter future.
