Mr. Francis Goddy Okoyo, FCA, a prominent APC leader from Ugboha Ward of Esan South East local government area (LGA) of Edo state, made the commendation in a message of felicitation with the governor in his 100 days in office.
In his message, Okoyo, a Canadian chartered accountant and business professional, said that the solid accomplishments made thus far by Governor Monday Okpebholo within a short one hundred days of taking over the mantle of Edo leadership had greatly aided and given the people of the state more hope.
He claims that without holding back, it is evident from the expressions of the state’s citizens who had just emerged from eight years of bad leadership and suffering brought on by the previous administration, which was led by Mr. Godwin Obaseki as governor, that the Savior had arrived.
As the leader of the Edo APC Governorship Campaign Council’s 2024 Edo APC Diaspora Campaign Committee, which diligently worked to elect the governor, Mr. Okoyo “urged the governor to tighten up his belt, keep his hands on the plough and not look back,” stating that the future will undoubtedly judge him correctly for his selfless efforts to improve the lives of the Edo people.
Although Okoyo is well-known for his charitable activities in Nigeria and abroad, he urged the state chapter of the APC’s leaders and other supporters to work with the governor to improve the lot of the Edo people, saying that Senator Okpebholo has already taken positive steps to guarantee a better Edo.
