In other to prepare for the 2025 Hajj trip, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, the chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, and Alhaji Eranga Muhammadkabir Abdulkabir, the executive secretary, have visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is anticipated that the officials currently in Saudi Arabia working with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) team will negotiate and secure appropriate lodging for pilgrims from Edo State in Makkah and Madinah in order to complete essential arrangements for the pilgrims’ safe and successful journey.
In a voice message sent today via WhatsApp, the chairman, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh, stated that logistics coordination is a component of the plan that will be refined during the visit.
He said, “Arranging transportation, catering, and other essential logistical services to ensure the comfort and safety of our pilgrims throughout their journey is a priority for us”
“We need to work with Saudi authorities in establishing and maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders to address any potential challenges and ensure a seamless pilgrimage experience for Edo State pilgrims”
In his response, the executive secretary stated that the pre-Hajj mission is an essential step in guaranteeing that every pilgrim from the state has a successful and well-organized Hajj experience. He went on to say that in order to resolve any issues and make sure that everything is set up for a pilgrimage that is both safe and spiritually enlightening, they are collaborating closely with NAHCON and the appropriate Saudi authorities.
