Mallam Musa Muhammad Uduimoh, the chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, met with a group of Muslim media professionals in Jattu-Uzairue today to ask for their assistance and collaboration in his endeavors.
In order to successfully carry out the Board’s duties, the Chairman, who was represented by his personal assistant Maruf Shuaib Isah, underlined the significance of solid media cooperation with both government-owned and private media.
Izharudeen Muslim Secondary School, Jattu Uzairue, Etsako West Local Government hosted the meeting, which was attended by representatives from The Muslim Online Media Professionals, who responded to the Chairman’s request by expressing their support and providing insightful counsel. Adequate media coverage of the board’s pre-, during-, and post-Hajj activities was one of the main suggestions made to the chairman.
There was also discussion about the necessity of creating a forum for continuous dialogue and cooperation between the Board and the media. In order to achieve visibility, the platform will make sure that all stakeholders are informed and participating in the Board’s future operations.
In order to improve accountability, transparency, and public awareness of the Board’s operations, this meeting represents a significant step toward a closer collaboration between the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and the privately held online media owned by Muslims.
